My first book, my first trip to Houston, my first Quilt Market! I love adventure! The divine Kelly D and I had a fabulous trip to Quilt Market at the end of October. One of the very first people we met on the convention floor was the smiling Kerry Goulder of Kid Giddy.
It was the coldest winter Morton had known, and he had known a lot of winters in the garden behind the big house. “It’s a good thing I have my sweater,” he thought. “Now if only my neck wasn’t so cold.” When Morton was resting he could pull his head inside his cozy shell, but when he was out and about his neck got cold. And Morton liked to be out and about. You never know what you might find if you were looking.
Hello there! I am so excited to introduce my new menagerie, Scandinavian Animal Friends! These guys were made for the Oakshott Scandinavian Challenge from Sew Mama Sew. Oh Sew Mama Sew, thank you for the opportunity to neglect my kids and all my other work. What a great time I had with these amazing Oakshott cottons!
Kid Giddy (Kerry Goulder) always gets me into trouble. She has such fun contests and swaps and things going on that I just can’t resist. Her latest effort to get me into trouble is a joint project with Generation Q Magazine and Sizzix. Kerry designed custom doll dies for Sizzix and is working with Generation Q on a Sew Myself Doll Challenge. I was powerless. Children? Work? Responsibilities? So sorry. Not this week.
